A building automation system (BAS) connects sensors and controllers that monitor and run a building's heating, ventilation and air conditioning automatically, keeping temperature, humidity and air quality on target without constant manual adjustment. With Vector Controls, each controller speaks BACnet and Modbus natively and can run on its own built-in web interface or report to a larger building management system.

Premier Energy Controls is the U.S. dealer representative/support for Vector Controls, based in Champlin, Minnesota. We supply BTL-listed, open-protocol BACnet and Modbus controllers, sensors and transmitters to contractors, integrators and specifying engineers for light-commercial and high-end residential projects. Electric radiant heating is available through our partner, Premier Energy USA.

Often, yes. Vector controllers are built for the middle ground: buildings that have outgrown a thermostat but can't justify a licensed building management system. Offices, restaurants, churches, multi-family buildings and schools get real DDC control and a built-in browser interface, without per-point licensing or a head-end server.

Yes. Retrofits are a core use. Vector controllers replace pneumatic or basic thermostats and aging unitary controls, and they drop into an existing Niagara, Metasys or Distech system without expanding its licensed point count. If the building has no head-end at all, each controller has its own built-in web interface.

It depends on the size of the building and the equipment being controlled, so we quote each project from your drawings, prints or site photos. With Vector Controls, the cost is the controller hardware itself: no software, hardware or distribution licenses, no per-point fees, and the X2, EasySet and EasyX2 software is free. Many jobs also need no head-end server, because each controller has its own web interface.

Yes, for sure. Tell us what you want to keep an eye on and we will put together the required devices with a drawing for your installer, or depending on your location, we can install too.

Yes, glad you asked. Existing or new does not matter. We will provide controllers, sensors and any other peripheral devices required, along with programming and wiring drawings for your contractor. The big benefit to offer saving's is getting control of the outside air damper. This can provide free cooling and lock it out when outside air temperature it to hot or to cold. If you need us to install, no problem, we surely can.

Yes, you can. All Vector X2 products come with built-in apps for access locally on your network and on your smartphone. If you want offsite access, we use Public Tunnels, for a minimal monthly fee.

You sure can. We can provide a controller that installs right at your furnace and an LCD thermostat. the controller can connect to your humidifier & air-to-air exchanger, which can be controlled from the LCD to make setpoint changes for all the systems. We can also wire up to (12) additional sensors, like hot water, discharge air, outside air and return air, to name a few. All connected points are viewable on the LCD thermostat.

We sure do, and have numerous systems installed with local and remote access. Total individual daily scheduling for classes. Easy-to-use setpoint adjustments for temperature, humidity and fresh air control.

Yes, we do, depending on what your application is and your desire for control and monitoring. We can put together a complete turnkey package for you, or just "Parts & Smarts" to be installed by others.
